Louie [Strentzel Muir]
to write about them myself though there is so much on my hands of other work. This afternoon we (3 companions I found on Barbarossa) sail for the south Island where there will be more staging etc but also much glorious mountain glacial scenery. From Christ church I expect to travel alone to the Mt Cook region, perhaps regaining my companions at Bluff on way to Tasmania etc. The weather is delightful midsummer sunshine Wish I could hear from [in margin: from you. I am very well. Love to all. Ever Thine John Muir]
