[1]Martinez Calif.Oct 7 1898Dear Papa,We have received your delightful lot of letters and telegrams and enjoyed them all so much, your letter from Knoxville, Tenn. came yesterday. What a fine time you must be having! We were all very glad to hear that you were well again, for we had been worrying about you a good deal. We are all well here and are very careful about watching the fires. Aunt Margaret is about as usual, she received your letter with the lovely little heathwort blossoms in it09158
