climbed this mtn back of villages to height of 3000 ft. Found the Paton Spruce at this height & [illegible] straggling [diverse forest?] specimens higher--say 4000--largest abot 16 ft Dia & 20 high alas Menzies Mertin sp & [illegible] pine in abund on the mtn.
