[2]Helen, Lou, and my self, we are all delighted with her she has just come from the Normal school and has received a teachers certificate so that she is looking for a school, but she will stay here and teach us until she gets one. Helen sa[illegible]s that she just loves to study because she is so gentle with her. Well what do you think? We saw in Saturdays paper that Mr Keith had returned to Chicago, it said "Mr Keith sauntered into the California [illegible] minus John Muir, this is the way that he walked over Scotland. I will enclose the notic of his return. I am learning to sing the Blue Bells of Scotland. I am glad that you are going to take a good look at that Dormer window. I wish that I could see[3]It and may be I will some day. I analyze a plant or two nearly evey morning and I enjoy it so much. I also learn som verses in the Bible and read some poetry every day. Aunt Margaret feels the hot weather so much that they are going to take her down to Pacific Grove wher it will be cooler for her, they think the change will do her good.Mama and Grandma are pretty well. .Before this letter reaches you you will have received a sweet little letter from Helen, I think It is very well written for a little girl her age, every word of it is her own. I hope that you will have a more pleasant voyage coming home02813
