M[argaret Muir] Reid
[Louie Strentzel Muir]
5I am sorrow to say I have not seen John's writings in the Century Magazine but have written to Jessie to try & get the numbers. I am glad of your sympathy Louie but please do not worry about me. I think dear Louie, much as I would like to see you all, it will be impossible for me to accept your kind invitation to come to California next Winter. our affairs are so unsettled, and John talks of leaving home a while to try & earn a little But how glad I would be to see you, or any of you out here. I wish we lived nearer. I hope John will
