despoiled of them. I have corresponded with Representative Vandever and am glad to know that one of his bills, (setting apart township 18 South, range 30 East) has already passed the House. I have written Senator Aldrich of Rhode Island urging him to use his influence to securing its passage by the Senate at this session.
