George Muller in answer to a letter or question I put to him said he had in the 5 houses between 18 & 19 hundred orphans & that he assisted 190 ministers he has accomidation for 2050. It is 7 years since Dr. C. Cullis commenced taking in consumptives, there is from 40 to 50 dies annually in a converted state, though when they enter the home their hearts may be as hard as a stone he keeps their children & schools for them he has a chapel also for them etc all are supported by God in answers to his prayers without asking anything from man & has no funds of his own or from any one else except what the Lord inclines them to give as a free will offering from day to day. I will send you herewith a monthly paper of his called the times of refreshing which will give you an account of other Institutions of the kind in other places, and another tract called Gods way of Holiness. Also I Send you a accompanying this letter one of Mr Mullers reports for last year. Your Mother & Anne joins me in love to you and are glad to hear you are well. Hoping you are minding the one thing needful. I remain yours most affectionately hoping you will write soon. Daniel Muir.
