[3]I got your letter dated Jun 11, yesterday. forwarded from Portage & was very glad to get the news.Very many flattering invitations are coming in but I can accept none in advance of news from MotherWith love to you & all I am Your affectionate father[2]Tomorrow I am going further up the Hudson to meet Bouroughs & spend a night & day with him. Then I go back to New York & then go to Cambridge Tuesday afternoon. But if mother should be worse I would leave all & go to her.
