coast this fall or next. for I want to see what relations the coast & coast mtns have to the Sierras. Also I want to go N & S along this range, & run among the basins & rangers Eastward. My subject is expanding at a most unfollowable pace. I could write something with data already harvested but I am not satisfied I have just returned from Hetch Hetchy with Mrs Moore. I am a little weary & half incline to tru[illegible]tism from mobs however blessed in some unfindable grove I start in a few minutes for Clouds Rest with Mr & Mrs Moore. I am ever your friend, Muir My love to the Dr & all the boys I hope for Merrill daily[in margin: I like Mrs Moore & Mr firstrate] 00601
