013302Fortunately the new Year - the annual Sunday makes us look about us & brings to mind that we have a mother brother sister friend etc & many other blessings to thank Heaven for.We are all well, the children more than well fairly full of sparkling exuberant vitality & growing sweeter & more divine every day if that be possible. For me I am pegging away at this & that growing gray & wise At least I look so when I have my spectacles on. Last summer I rambled & explored in the wilds of Washington Terr. British Columbia & Oregon & suffered horribly with bad food & bad stomach went for days & days without eating to avoid the infernal pain that eating caused so that when I got back to California I was far from fat. But strange to say I at once got well after reaching home & have not had the slightest symptom of stomach trouble since no matter how when or where or what I eat_ so much for the holiday topics of grub and gold.
