J[ohn] H. Boyes
Erin May 3rd / 81To John MuirDear friendI am writing you at an [illegible] hense this short note. I cannot tell if it will ever find you for I don’t know whether I am addressing the living or dead or whether you are in the same part of the world as when I last received from you. There has been many changes since I last received any word from you. I am now in the ministry labouring with the Baptists. I am at present engaged in the village of Erin Ontario where I preach twice every sabbath. I have many times longed to see some of your works. I should feel highly
