Martinez, CaliforniaAugust 11, 1896My Dear Papa,I wonder where you are now and if you are looking at a beautiful Iceberg are you sailing out among those pretty green islands that you told so much about.I thought a good deal yesterday about the cool blue ice for it was awful hot here all day but this morning there were great fog banks over Benicia and a fine wind is blowing.Mama is pretty well again so she walks with me all around the orchard and I climb the peach trees for peaches we cant reach from the ground they are just delicious now. I [as?]I have cut two new teeth since you went away but they did not hurt me much so I feel very well again.09241
