thanks of your Galloway nieces? Some of the most tender specimens were a little frozen during their long cold journey. I planted the one you marked also the geranium, but it is such cold weather here now that I [deleted: very much] doubt their growing, though I very much hope they will. Those that would press were laid away carefully in books and some day I am going to decorate the house with the evergreens and bright [hemis?]. The last will be a constantreminder of California and all our folks there. And now hoping that some day we may see each other and get a little more acquainted with one another, I close by subscribing myselfLovingly, your niece, Anna G. Galloway.
