On the integration of differential equations
According to Jacobi, a treatise with this title was read to the Berlin Academy on June 12, 1755, and another (or the same one?) on October 21, 1756. According to St. Petersburg Academy records, it was presented to that Academy on January 13, 1757.
Euler integrates the equation M dx + N dy = 0 using the method of integrating factors; he treats the Riccati equation as a special case.
