Description

No one wants to become ‘that writer’ who pesters everyone in sight with demands to read and buy their books. On the other hand, everyone knows that authors have to handle much of our own publicity now and we want to seem unafraid to take on that role. In this workshop I’ll go over how thinking in terms of partnering with bloggers, book reviewers, journalists, social media influencers, bookstore managers and others and working together to help them achieve their goals while promoting your books can be the most effective path to getting your writing out there long-term. I’ll also cover creative avenues besides traditional book tours and professional reviews that can especially help emerging authors connect with their communities and their readers.
