Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the mental attitudes of Lodi Union High School Girls toward their physical education program, and to arrive, on the basis of the findings, at constructive recommendations. The study was particularly concerned with; (1) The mental attitudes of the girls toward the general organization of the program: (a) attitudes toward activities offered, (b) attitudes toward requirements - costume, participation, showers, etc.; (2) An evaluation of the program: (a) physical, social, psychological development, (b) carry-over value into adult life; (3) Suggestions for betterment of programs
