Introduction/Abstract

In the past few decades, steel walls have been utilized in seismic countries, such as United States and Canada, to reduce the risk of destructive forces. In recent decades, concrete shear walls are one of the most appropriate structural forms, which have led to the height of concrete buildings to be soared. Timber walls are sheathed in order to increase performance under both wind and earthquake loading.
