Madrones etc Fine to see the ceanothus once more. [Chinquapin] striking tree in Umpqua & Rogue R[River] vals[valleys] Peaches not ripe in Rogue yet only hard Alexanders. Shasta rather smoky V[Very] little snow save on the gls[glaciers] [Sketch with Crillion noted]: Rough sketch of Crillion on La Perouse Gl[Glacier] Pk[Peak] of Crillion abeam in going down coast.
