P. [M/C.] Kirky Virginia City Building cottages in Emerald Bay [Baldrous] Hotel Warbler [sketch of warbler’s head] singing on nest in cottonwood close to road. Went down to beautiful [opening] thro [through] the marginal [fringe] to the river. Heard the singing [bird] that is a warbler & searched for him. Found him on nest.
