July 1, 1909Darling Helen, Im on way to S.F.; & thence we leave for Yo Park with about 200.I was greatly relieved by your telegram & letters showing you were well by good luck. I never imagined you would take such risk in such hot weather. Or that Mrs F would have allowed it. Wait until fairly well before you take more of such long hot trips I met Charlotte Hoff at Barstow on way home.Wanda is glorious in huge motherhood. Bertha doing well Twins fine - My address will be this month "Yosemite, Cal. Care Sierra Club"
