to see about a school there which is the work of Elder Whitman Folks are all well - our little Annie is living with Father & Mother & is their delight. Carrie is reading in the second reader & progressing very rapidly (at home) little David [Wilberforce?] [illegible] is taking his first lessons in philosophy & [illegible] & c Have you heard from John lately, we have not. I suppose you are all study nowadays but you must be careful & not hurt your health. I don't think there is any danger though unless their has been a great change brought upon you (no offense [meant?]) I don't think I can say any- thing more to your edification or furtherance at present so good luck to you & be a good boy & allow me to [illegible] Yours Afectionally D E Muir.
