This version of the Wheeler map of Yosemite Valley was published by the Department of the Interior to accompany US Congress, 52nd Congress, 2nd Session, Senate Ex. Doc. No. 22 (Jan. 5, 1893), "Letter from the Secretary of the Interior, in response to Senate resolution of September 29, 1890, relative to the supposed spoliation of lands granted to the State of California in 1864," shows the extend of the 1864 Yosemite Grant that Muir and Johnson worked to have added to Yosemite National Park.
